REVITALIZATION OF THE NORD WEST CENTER IN GARBSEN

In less than a year, we transformed the Nord West Center in Garbsen into a modern retail park. With a total area of 6,695 m², the SCHLEGEL team has set a strong example of forward-thinking revitalization.

We are particularly proud of the striking redesign of the exterior facade: high-quality expanded metal and modern post-and-beam constructions give the center a contemporary appearance. The newly constructed cantilevered roof, which visually and functionally connects all three building sections, serves as an architectural highlight. The outdoor areas have also been completely revamped, including new paving and e-bike charging stations to meet modern mobility demands.

Inside, we carried out extensive renovations to the rental spaces. Screed, drywall, and structural work allowed us to tailor the facilities perfectly to the needs of new tenants. At the same time, we upgraded the building’s technical infrastructure to ensure efficiency and sustainability.

On March 5, 2020, we successfully opened the revitalized Nord West Center on schedule. This project demonstrates how thoughtful planning, innovative ideas, and the highest level of commitment allow us to set new benchmarks in revitalization. It’s yet another example of how we successfully bring our motto, "WE DO IT YOUR WAY," to life.
